Your PCSDesk Junk E-Mail

If you find yourself missing an e-mail and the sender swears up and down that the e-mail was sent, it is possible that the message in question was caught by PCS’s spam filter.  To check your Junk E-Mail folder associated with your PCSDesk account, please follow these instructions:

  1. Log into the PCSDesk mail server by selecting the link “PCSDesk Mail Login
  2. Enter your full e-mail address and password
  3. When logged in, a folder entitled “Junk E-Mail” will appear on the left-hand side of the screen.  Select this folder to view the contents.
  4. If you see an e-mail that shouldn’t be considered spam, select the checkbox next to the message subject, select the Action menu and then click on “Unmark as Spam.”  At this point, the sender’s address will be added to your Safe Sender’s list and the email will be downloaded to your computer’s Inbox.

It is always a good idea to check your spam filter often (at least once a week for a month) and mark false-positive e-mails as “ham” or “good” e-mail.  Doing this insures that the spam filter begins to learn your e-mail habits and begins to understand what you consider to be good and bad e-mail.
