New Meat

Posted by Brian Gallutia on Mar 2, 2009

As our long-standing customers can attest, we don’t do a lot of hiring at PCS, especially when we don’t have to. So when the time comes to flesh out our ranks, a new hire turns into a big deal for us.

Today marks the first day for our newest technician, Brian Raines. If you are so inclined, feel free to drop him a line and say hello (or warn him about what he’s in for) at braines@pcsdesk.com.

Now the down-side to this new hire is that even though he has the super-awesome first name “Brian,” having two Brian’s in our small family can be confusing for some of our customers. Since I’m not about to give up my moniker (primarily because I out-rank him), I think it’s only fitting that we give Brian a nickname.

If you think you have a good nickname for our new technician, please register yourself on our site and throw your name idea in the ring. I cannot promise that Brian will like his new nickname, but I can promise that all submissions will be considered.

Have a great week..

Brian / PCS

Brian hasn’t been here a full day yet, and already “BRaines” is catching on with a couple of customers already.

Maybe you can help us with nicknames! Our two Kens, two Rodneys, two Chrises, two Nate/Nathans, two Pete/Peters, two Joshes, and three Dave/Davids have had to be identified by last names. BRaines sounds good, as long as that doesn’t classify him as brainier than the boss!

One of our customers (and she needs to register to take credit for this post) said that everyone looks like an animal and that nicknames should be derived from that.

Now, I’m not sure what animal our new tech looks like, but I’m not going to be calling Chris “Tattoo Bear” any time soon.

You have not been having near as much fun since I left your employ in 1997, so I think you should call him Don. In fact, you should all adopt Don as a nickname. Your life will improve. Really.
